The Best Michael Jackson Front Page
Michael Jackson was a man of music and dance, which don't easily lend themselves to still images. He was photographed constantly, and yet his ever-evolving appearance meant there was no single, definitive image of the man. Indeed, survey the media coverage the day after his death and you'll find no consistent picture. He's a child, he's grown up, he's healthy, he's sick, he's black, he's white.
After browsing today's front pages at the Newseum and a gallery of newspaper front pages compiled by the Guardian, we spotted one image that stood out. It's today's front page of Extra, a newspaper in Rio de Janeiro. The photo, rather than reminding us what Jackson looked like at one moment, just tells us he's gone.

Even in death people still have bad things to say. Cant we accept and move on he lived his life not pleasing to most of us, but it was his life and his journey now it's over let him go and rest in peace.

I live in Rio de Janeiro and when I arrived at college thursday at morning I stopped at the newsstand on the door, then I saw it and had the same thought 'The most beautiful front page today. Shows exactly what I´m feeling. There isn´t another newspaper with a better front page.' I was talking about it earlier today, telling my mom how beatiful was Extra at thursday, then I came to my computer and discovered that you chose as the best. I agree. The Extra Team deserves.
I also liked the 'O Dia' front page, very beatiful as well, showing only his feet in a jump. It makes you think 'He´s going to dance in heaven now'.
R.I.P King! We´ll miss you!

Michael Jackson is a one in a million...he will never be forgotten.... and no one in this world can be lyk him....cuz he was the best..and i icon 2 every1...i loved all of his songzz and i just wish he had not gone...styll its seemz lyk hez styll ere...xxx..
