Latest Galbraith Canon Mark III Report in Twitterspeak

Photographer and camera reviewer Rob Galbraith must drive the folks at Canon crazy. Galbraith and his team at the Digital Photography Insights website have once again produced an exhaustive (over 17,000 words!) report on the latest firmware upgrades to the Canon 1D & 1Ds Mark III digital SLRs which finds the autofocus in both those cameras improved but still flawed.

Canon_markiii You can brew up an extra pot of coffee and read Rob's full report here -- we spent the better part of the weekend digesting it and the "paper" version of the Sunday edition of the NY Times -- or you can just read our summary of the article below. For your convenience and, hopefully, your amusement, we've condensed Rob's article into a regulation 140-character "tweet" for use on the Twitter microblogging site:

Canon has tried to fix the 1D III for 14 months but they haven't made it or the 1Ds focus reliably on moving subjects. 1D IIn still better.
