Video: Tim Barber at NYPH

At the New York Photo Festival preview yesterday, we met up with curator Tim Barber, who cautioned us that his show wasn't quite turning out how he intended. Check out what he had to say in the video below. And if you want to see the work for yourself, head over to Brooklyn. NYPH is on through Sunday May 18.

Tim Barber really confused me with his comments. His panel was especially confusing, I wonder if he really was the best choice for curator.

Well, at least one could see that Tim's fascination with photography is the picture
and not so much whether someone is a household name in photography or won prices in competitions you have to pay for.
One could say his choices are arbitrar - as every choice will ever be - or that he is making a selection on intuition and not by ratio, he sure is a nice counterweight against the other 'heavy-weights' curating.
Have a look at Tim Barbers website and let yourself be amazed by all sorts of curious little wonders of life and great imagery.

Tim Barber rocks!

what exac6tlly is confusing about what he said here !!!!
Everything makes complete sense to me - it is pretty straightforward.

Maybe you are a bit slow, thats ok!
