Video: Reuters Photogs At The Super Bowl
Reuters photographer Lucy Nicholson has just posted a video showing how the Reuters photo team covered the Super Bowl. In the video, picture editor Gary Hershorn shows off some state-of-the-art gear photographers used to get their pictures out as quickly as possible. Reuters's Super Bowl photographers carried tiny oqo PCs and sent their images into Reuters' custom Paneikon software. Editors stationed remotely used the software to process and transmit the images to clients. Check out photographer Mike Blake describing the gear he's lugging around the field — two Canon Mark III bodies and four lenses. Also note the omnipresent red vests that caused such a stir at the beginning of the season.
